According to reports published around the globe, the catholic church has affirmed an apparition, referring to it as “Mary” and stating that the appearance of this unknown entity is “worthy of belief”. Here’s a link to one article:

Church affirms Virgin Mary apparition in Wisconsin

David Laurin Ricken, bishop of the Diocese of Green Bay, said last week, the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help is “worthy of belief.” John Doefler is the shrine’s rector and the vicar general and chancellor of the diocese.

According to information published in the report, just outside the small town of Champion, Wisconsin, Adele Brise was visited three times in October 1859 by the vision of a woman in white. In the third vision, as Brise carried grain to a mill, the woman identified herself…

According to accounts, the vision stated: “I am the queen of heaven”.

Affirmation of this apparition by the false church, the church of Rome, is clear evidence that they are doing work that is not of our Father in Heaven, and that is not of Christ. Clearly the church is attempting to leverage the legend of some unknown entity, a vision of something or someone who is not Mary the mother of the Body of Christ, and to use this vision and legend to continue to mislead and fool its followers.

No one knows who this apparition is, if it even ever existed at all, and we certainly know that the apparition is NOT Mary, the mother of the body of Jesus. We know this, as do the catholic church leaders, those in power in the church of Rome, yet they ignore this plain fact in order to continue to obscure God’s Truth.

In fact, according to reports, the apparition reportedly identified itself as the “queen of heaven”. Unfortunately, many who aspire to believe in Christ are misled into believing that the “queen of heaven” is Mary, the earthly mother of Jesus. The Word of God tells us that the queen of heaven is NOT, in fact, Mary the mother of Jesus, but rather some “other god” that was inappropriately the object of worship.

No “church” which believes in the Word of God would under any circumstances identify the mother of the man Jesus as a pagan god whose worship led people to be punished severely by God!

We look to Jeremiah 44 for the truth:

“Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying, As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto thee. But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem”

The Scripture says that people rejected the Word of God in favor of their own god whom they worshipped, a god called the queen of heaven.

“Moreover Jeremiah said unto all the people, and to all the women, Hear the word of the LORD, all Judah that are in the land of Egypt: Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying; Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hand, saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: ye will surely accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows. Therefore hear ye the word of the LORD, all Judah that dwell in the land of Egypt; Behold, I have sworn by my great name, saith the LORD, that my name shall no more be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, The Lord GOD liveth. Behold, I will watch over them for evil, and not for good: and all the men of Judah that are in the land of Egypt shall be consumed by the sword and by the famine, until there be an end of them. Yet a small number that escape the sword shall return out of the land of Egypt into the land of Judah, and all the remnant of Judah, that are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall know whose words shall stand, mine, or theirs. And this shall be a sign unto you, saith the LORD, that I will punish you in this place, that ye may know that my words shall surely stand against you for evil”

God punished them for worshipping a god known as the queen of heaven! Surely the church of Rome is aware of this, yet it “affirms” this unknown apparition, opening the door to allow the “queen of heaven” to be worshipped by the modern day members of the so-called “catholic church”.

Those of you who Trust in Christ and those who read my words and aspire to Trust in Him, I implore you NOT to be misled by the wolf in lamb’s clothing, by the false church, by the church of Rome, the so-called “catholic church” for this “church” is intent on leading you away from Him — and this latest affirmation confirms it!

A Christian is someone who trusts in Christ and follows Him. Which means a Christian should hold dear those things which clearly are of Christ, and reject those things which only pretend to be. Those of us who have been fortunate to receive the Gift of Eternal Salvation most likely understand that not everyone or everything that masquerades as being of Christ actually is. A good example of this is the “Christmas” holiday, which is looming on the very near horizon.

A true Christian is not one who accepts false teachings of false churches at face value. A real Christian understands that evil is at work at every turn, and that those who intend to lead us away from Christ will no doubt put on the mantle of the Lamb of God in order to lead people to believe that they are of Him. These entities, with their nefarious intent, are indeed the wolf in sheep’s (or in this case, lamb’s) clothing.

Few people today realize that the celebration of “Christmas” on December 25th has roots in pagan tradition. The modern Christmas celebration clearly has a pagan origin, and that is something that true Christians should not ignore. The ancient Babylonians celebrated the feast of the Son of Isis, the Goddess of Nature, on December 25. Parties with gluttonous drinking and eating as well as gift giving were traditional parts of this feast. The Romans called their winter holiday “Saturnalia” which honored the God of Agriculture and they dubbed the entire season “Dies Natalis Invicti Solis” (or the Birthday of the Unconquered Sun). In northern Europe, many other traditions that we now consider part of Christian worship were started long before the participants in those pagan rituals had ever heard of Christ.

In the year 350, Pope Julius I declared that Christ’s birth would be celebrated on December 25, despite the day’s pagan significance. From the authoritative Biblical descriptions, historians believe that Christ’s birth probably occurred in September, about six months after Passover. We know almost certainly that Jesus WAS NOT born in December, since the Bible records shepherds tending their sheep in the fields on that night, which would be nearly impossible due to the harsh winter conditions of late December in the region.

So, since the Bible doesn’t explicitly say what day Christ was born, why is it so important that the generally accepted celebration date appears is wildly incorrect? Does it matter that Jesus wasn’t born in December yet people still celebrate his birth on December 25th?

Of course it matters.

Think of it this way: your loving earthly father’s birthday is in February, yet you decide that you will begin to celebrate his birthday in June. If you’re celebrating his birthday on a date that is nowhere near his birthday, are you in fact celebrating his birthday at all? Not only that, but let’s say that the date you decided to celebrate your father’s birth is actually the birth date of an infamous mass murderer, and you specifically CHOSE that date BECAUSE of that fact. How do you suppose your father would feel?

How do you suppose God our Father in Heaven feels about people supposedly celebrating His Son’s birth on a day that belonged to pagan rituals? How would Christ feel about it?

Remember what we’re told in Jeremiah 10:

“Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.”

Don’t take part in these pagan traditions, don’t learn the way of the heathen. And don’t buy the old argument that the date was chosen as a way to “overwrite” the pagan history with a new, Christian celebration. If that were the case, any valid reason to celebrate Christianity could have been chosen for that date. The catholic pope, in choosing to declare that celebration of the birth of Christ occurs on a major pagan holiday, has for centuries forced followers of the catholic church (the Church of Rome) and other false Christian religions to unknowingly continue to glorify a pagan tradition.

If you feel the need to celebrate any sort of winter holiday, then celebrate the beginning of the new year — but leave Jesus Christ out of it, because we all know (and so did the king of the roman church when he developed this evil plot) that Jesus wasn’t born anywhere near December.

As you probably know, I receive dozens and dozens of e-mails daily and I can’t necessarily respond to every one individually. I get many messages of thanks and good wishes, and sometimes I get e-mails from people who want to argue. I know that I have the Holy Spirit to guide me when it comes to Holy Scripture, so I do my best to guide those who are still lost and try to insist that my “interpretation” (I don’t interpret Scripture, it isn’t meant to be interpreted) is wrong — when I know, because I have The Comforter with me, that the message I get out of the Gospel is from the author Himself.

Today I received another joyful e-mail from someone who has visited my site:

It is not through my words, but through the power of the Holy Spirit that stories of repentance like these occur all the time. Through the Grace of God these people’s eyes are opened and when they Trust in Christ Alone they are able to escape the clutches of a false church and move from darkness into God’s wonderful Light. I am so very joyful that this man’s wife is now a part of Christ’s One True Church.

Indeed, I echo this e-mailer’s closing statement: all praise, honor, and glory to God.

Did you know that in 2005, the pope (the leader of the so-called “catholic” church, the church of Rome) claimed that Eternal Salvation can be by those who lack Biblical faith? Quoting from Zenit:

“Whoever seeks peace and the good of the community with a pure
conscience, and keeps alive the desire for the transcendent, will
be saved even if he lacks biblical faith, says Benedict XVI.”

So, essentially, the pope (erroneously) tells his unfortunate followers that just being a “good person” will Save someone, even if they lack the Faith described in the Holy Scriptures. Anyone with even a small amount of Scriptural study knows that this position is patently false, and is another of the dangerous teachings of a man-made religion that keeps people AWAY from Christ rather than lead them to Him.

I will rely on the Holy Scripture for the definitive answer to this issue, and respectfully refer the pope to this:

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

- John 14:6

I think that’s about clear as it can get. So what do you think? Do you think that a pure conscience and a desire for peace and good things in the community are enough to Save someone for all eternity? If you do, perhaps you’re reading a different Bible than I am. Maybe the pope doesn’t believe that the Word of God is is the final say-so on matters such as these.

The catholic church says that that tradition is just as important as the Holy Scripture. In fact, you can confirm that for yourself in the “Catechism of the Catholic Church” from which I quote:

“As a result the Church, to whom the transmission and interpretation of Revelation is entrusted, does not derive her certainty about all revealed truths from the holy Scriptures alone. Both Scripture and Tradition must be accepted and honored with equal sentiments of devotion and reverence.”

Further:

“Tradition is to be distinguished from the various theological, disciplinary, liturgical or devotional traditions, born in the local churches over time. These are the particular forms, adapted to different places and times, in which the great Tradition is expressed. In the light of Tradition, these traditions can be retained, modified or even abandoned under the guidance of the Church’s Magisterium.”

So the catholic church insists that tradition and Holy Scripture should be accepted as EQUAL when it comes to Spiritual Truth. It also says that the church can decide which traditions are worth keeping and which can be abandoned. The church of Rome gives itself much power here, to decide for millions of followers what they should believe, even if the tradition runs counter to the Holy Scripture. However…

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness”

- 2 Timothy 3:16

There are many debates about the importance of tradition, and many verses of Scripture which can be cited both in favor of and against tradition. But despite all of the debate over whether or not tradition should be integral to Spiritual Truth, we can turn directly to the Words of Jesus Christ Himself to settle the issue about which is more important, Scripture or tradition:

“Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying, Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread. But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.”

- Matthew 15:1-6

The commandment of God was made “of none effect” by tradition. Very, very powerful words.

Regardless of whether you believe tradition is important in religion or not, no matter which side of the “tradition” debate you might be on, whatever you might say about this passage of Holy Scripture, at least one enduring truth must be observed: the traditions of the religious leaders were subject to the Word of God, not equal to it as the catholic church insists.

The e-mails continue to pour in from this site which chronicles my catholic christian journey. Many contain comments on this story of my escape from darkness and of finding my way into God’s Light. While I may not have time to respond to all of them, I certainly do read them all, and I want to share part of a very moving e-mail I have received with you. From this e-mail, I recognized something very, very important. The message began…

“Recently I was researching on the differences between Catholic and Christian
religion and came across your site. Thank you for sharing your journey, I truly
pray that it can be an enlightening story and blessing to others.”

I won’t share the entire e-mail here because it contains some very specific and personal information about this particular person’s own spiritual journey and their efforts, guided by the Holy Spirit, to lead someone very dear to them out of the catholic church, the false church, and toward Jesus Christ. Prayers of true Christians would no doubt support this woman and her efforts to help a lost soul escape the clutches of an evil, man-made religion.  She wrapped up her e-mail with this:

“I find that your story is inspiring, and I hope that you and your family
continue to grow in faith and wisdom in reaching out to people.”

I learned today that despite having touched so many people with my story, I can still be deeply moved by their stories of finding God’s Truth. But while my story may help the lost find their way to the right path, it is not my story but rather it is because of the Power of God that people are finding their way to Jesus.

Like Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 2 :
“And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”

Read Paul’s words — which we know were written to the Saved, not the unsaved — about faith and understand how it is through Trust in Christ Alone (not in the words of men, in the traditions of men, in the teachings of a man-made religion) that we are Saved. The Gift of Eternal Salvation is through God’s Grace and Trust in Christ.

Praise, Honor and Glory to His Holy Name!

I hear from a lot of people, some who have received the Gift of Eternal Salvation and some who have not. Some who are a part of Christ’s Body and others who are stuck in the false church, the so-called “roman catholic church”. Those who have been Saved realize exactly how simple God’s plan for Salvation is. Those who are trapped, who have been misled, who have placed their trust in men and not Christ are usually very confused.

All I have to do is Trust in Christ Alone and I will have the Gift of Eternal Salvation? It can’t possibly be that simple.

And yet, it is. But as humans, we’ve been trained to believe that nothing can be gained without hard work. That we can receive no “reward” without putting in some sort of effort. We forget that Salvation is a GIFT and not a reward. A gift is something that we do NOT need to earn, rather it is freely given. And God gives us Eternal Life because He sent His Son to die for our sins, all of our sins, once and forever.

Here in my catholic Christian blog and Web site I relate my story and try to help those who are confused and misled. I try to explain that man-made churches like the church of rome can do nothing but twist and tarnish God’s Word. The Holy Scripture is pure, there is no explanation or interpretation needed. Instead of relying on man-made churches to tell you what the Holy Scripture means, set aside everything you’ve been taught by men and place all of your Trust in Christ Alone.
