I’ve moved “Catholic to Christian” from one of my servers to another, and migrated the posts and pages from my own ColdFusion code to the Wordpress platform. That will make it a LOT easier for me to maintain this site. While I’ve moved everything successfully, I’ve still got a lot of clean up to do… so please be patient!

Keep Christ OUT of Christmas

News

I drove by a church that had a sign out in front that said only this: “Keep Christ in Christmas”. Well, any devout Christian would know that Christ was NEVER in christmas, and we shouldn’t try and put him there. Jesus wasn’t born anywhere near December 25th, and it is silly to try and force that date on Him. The day of His birth isn’t nearly as significant to us as the day of His death, because His sacrifice on the cross is what paid our sin debt in full.

Instead of keeping Christ in christmas, we should all keep Christ “in” every day. Every single day.

Dr. Hank Lindstrom Has Passed Away

News

I learned today that Dr. Hank Lindstrom was called home to be with the Lord yesterday, Monday, October 13th. While I was sad to hear that Dr. Hank had led his last soul to Christ, I am comforted to know that Hank has eternal salvation and he will enjoy his reward in Heaven. Dr. Hank will truly be missed here on Earth, he was a leader and an inspiration.

While I have placed my Trust in Christ Alone for my Eternal Salvation, some of Dr. Hank Lindstrom’s discussions on Holy Scripture, and in particular his CD entitled “How Permanent is Your Salvation” were significant in leading me to read the Holy Scripture with a more open mind. Dr. Hank Lindstrom helped point me in the right direction, and I really appreciate his efforts to help others find the Truth of God’s Word.
